Indian Head Massage
Everyday stress can cause an unnoticed build up of tension around the head, face, jaw, neck and shoulders. An Indian Head Massage is a surprisingly relaxing treatment targeting these areas, leaving you calm and refreshed.
The Treatment
An Indian Head Massage is easily adapted to shorter treatment times and a 15 minute treatment is certainly the most common. The massage can be extended to 30 minutes for a more thorough treatment.
Preparation
It may be advisable to remove any earrings and necklaces prior to your treatment. You will not need to remove any clothing.
Guests are asked to sign a treatments consent form at the start of the party / event which can be shown to the therapist before the treatment commences.
The Room and Equipment
An Indian Head Massage can be performed more or less anywhere, although a quiet area will appreciated for maximum enjoyment. The client may be seated in a standard chair (with a low back to give access to shoulders) or the therapist may supply their own special stool.
Products Used
Indian Head Massages are usually given without the use of oils. The massage can be given with soothing oils, but most people at a Pamper Party prefer the massage without oils.
